Review of Pregnancy Bathing Suits
Summer can be really hot – especially when you’re carrying a tiny human around on your front! If your third trimester falls in the hottest months of summer, it’s likely that you’ll be wanting to spend as much time as possible in cold water! But finding a pregnancy bathing suit which actually fits and gives you some support, let alone looks good, can be a bit of a challenge! Don’t worry – we know the feeling. Read on for our recommendation for a stylish one-piece maternity suit and a guest review from our reader, Melba Hill.
Momo One-Piece Pregnancy Bathing Suits
These pregnancy one piece bathing suits feature supportive cups, ruched sides, and sturdy adjustable shoulder straps. They are made from very stretchy material to allow room for a growing belly and are fully lined so that they never become see-through.
They are also excellent bathing suits for after pregnancy as the built in cups support your breasts while nursing and the ruched sides snap back into place to allow for your changing shape. These suits are available in a full range of sizes from small to large. You should select your size according to your current bodice measurements:

Review by Melba Hill
One piece pregnancy bathing suits that hold everything in (you know what I mean!), flatter the figure and snap back into shape after the baby arrives are like gold! These cute pregnancy bathing suits from Momo Maternity Fashions meet all three criteria. I’ve been spending a lot of time in the pool over the last few weeks and I bought one of these one-piece suits and one tankini suit.
The one-piece bathing suits for pregnancy have flattering ruching on the side to give you lots of room to grow. They also have supportive built-in cups in the bodice. One comment I’ve noticed that other reviewers have made is that it can be difficult to choose the right size to see you through your pregnancy. It’s important to note that, while most maternity clothing brands suggest you choose your pre-pregnancy size, these swimsuits should be ordered based on your current bust size. If you do grab a tape measure and select according to your size, your shouldn’t have a problem.
I’m not sure if these are the best bathing suits for pregnancy or whether I prefer the tankini style but I do love the supportive cups and the flattering ruching but I find that the tankini style is easier to get on and off when I need to go to the bathroom every five minutes because the baby is sitting on by belly. But overall it’s a really great suit. Just make sure you measure your current bust size and choose the corresponding size! They get a four out of five rating from me.
