7 Months Pregnant What to Expect
Welcome to the third trimester of pregnancy! By now, you’re probably starting to find the whole process of being pregnant quite exhausting. But, hang in there! The end is in sight.
How Many Weeks is 7 Months Pregnant?
At the end of your 28th week of pregnancy, you’ll be 7 months pregnant and will have entered your final trimester. This article focuses on the four weeks between 7 months and 8 months pregnant.
7 Months Pregnant Symptoms:
It’s likely that you’re starting to feel quite uncomfortable by now. Sleep may be becoming elusive and anxiousness about what’s ahead is common. Try and stay calm and relaxed – make time each day to do something just for you!
Common Symptoms at 7 Months Pregnant include:
- Lower back pain
- Sciatica (shooting nerve pain)
- Swollen feet and ankles
- Abdominal cramps
- Weakened bladder
Symptoms You Should Contact Your Doctor about:
- Persistent breathlessness
- Intense cramps
7 Months Pregnant Baby Size:
- At 7 months pregnant your baby should be around 3 pounds and 16 inches long.
- By 7 and a half months pregnant he or she will be approximately 3 and a half pounds.
- At the end of this month, Baby will be approximately 4 pounds – that’s right, he or she is gaining weight fast!
7 Months Pregnant Baby Position:
It’s different for every woman but, at some stage during this month, your baby may drop further down into your pelvis ready for birth. This is great because it can help to relieve heartburn and breathlessness. But not so great because it can put even more pressure on your bladder. Don’t be too embarrassed if you have a little leakage – it happens to the best of us!
