What to Expect when You’re 11 Weeks Pregnant
Your baby is now about the size of a fig and is almost completely formed – although there’s still a lot of growing to do! By 11 weeks pregnant his or her genitals will begin to develop (although you won’t be able to find out the sex for a few weeks yet).

At 11 weeks pregnant, Your little “bun in the oven” is beginning to look a lot more like a real baby!
Common Symptoms of Pregnancy Week 11
The Early Symptoms are Wearing off:
During this pregnancy period, the earliest symptoms of pregnancy should begin to wear off. Unless it’s particularly severe, your morning sickness should begin to ease and become less disruptive in your life. In all but the severest cases, most women find that morning sickness ceases altogether by the end of pregnancy week 12.
Weight Gain:
Pregnancy weight gain tends to become more prominent around week 11. Your waistline may begin to thicken more quickly as your uterus grows to make room for Baby, but it’ll really only be noticeable to you.
Constipation:
Unfortunately, you may be starting to suffer from some pregnancy constipation. This is an unpleasant side effect of slowed digestion caused by your pregnancy hormones.
To Do List for Pregnancy Week 11
Get Moving:
At this point, it’s really important to keep up with your pregnancy exercises and nutrition regime. Try and walk at least 20 minutes per day.
Load up on Calcium:
Eat lots of calcium rich foods like sardines, broccoli, and cheese (except unpasteurized soft cheeses). Calcium will help to curb any sugar cravings. It will also provide your baby with the essential nutrients he or she needs to develop strong bones.
Need Fiber?
Additionally, if you’re suffering from pregnancy constipation, adding more fiber to your diet may help to keep things more regular. Try a bowl of bran for breakfast or added roughage for dinner.
If Your Jeans Don’t Fit:
If your waistline is already starting to thicken but you’re not ready to ditch your favorite jeans, you could consider a clever trick like a pants extender or belly belt.
Plan Your Pregnancy Reveal:
There’s just one more week to go before you can make your big pregnancy announcement! Time to think of a funky and original way to spread the news to friends and family. If you’re a social media friend, we love the belly stickers or the Funny Pregnancy T-Shirts.
